College Life

..i usually write a “corny” title. like cliches and old lines. get used to it. 🙂

..first of, i am mary angelica del rosario bonifacio, currently a freshman in the University of the Philippines, and currently listening to the radio. i am a BS Psych major and if you’re wondering why i took this course, please don’t ask me. you’ll just get an “i don’t know” for an answer. yeah, i don’t have any reason for taking this course aside from the fact that i just like it. and why do i like it? that’s the question. and i still can’t answer it by now.

..hmm, i am currently living in a dorm in-campus. it is known as the kalayaan residence hall. well, we all know that kalayaan means freedom. FREEDOM! i wanna shout it now for them to hear. coz, basically, i am not free. with a curfew of 9pm, who would be happy? it’s just the start of the nightlife, c’mon! and as the other students go to the mall and watch the movies, i am already confined in the four boring walls of my room. that’s what you call freedom, men! i still have many complaints about my dorm but hey, we’re paying just a crap. so, what am i gonna expect, right? a crap also. 🙂 well, i’m gonna say that i’m enjoying my stay there with my roommate. i don’t know if it’s because we don’t really stay there all the time or rather, most of the time. ^^ i also have some friends there but we’re not that close, coz you know, i’m not always present in the activities. we also have a good dorm manager who shares his books with me. we both read a lot. and my roommate also read a lot. so there, u can guess that i and my roommate just read all the time when we are craving for malls and parties. imagine the life of students like us!

..and i miss my parents so badly. and my little brother too. and my dog and her puppies. and the whole neighborhood. i go home during weekends. but still, during weekdays when i need them most, when i need someone to help me with my homeworks and paperworks, i’m all alone. good thing my roommate is very helpful.

..i know college life is really hard. and i know it would take time before i get used to it. hell, i still think i’m a highschool student. i still wish i’m forever in highschool. and i still miss highschool life. but everything comes ang goes. i’m just passing by. just hope i wouldn’t get stuck here.

..but.. i love college. i want to believe that i love college. hahaha! 😀
